So much happens
We got a suite at the Hurricanes game for a PointSource event, and Ryan and Ade came. We got to see this famous French bulldog, Manny.
In scary horrifying events, Ade started screaming bloody murder from pain when her friend Cameron was leaving after a playdate. She said her head hurt and her throat and the side of her face. It took nearly an hour to calm her down enough to get her to explain enough for me to determine it might be something to do with her ear. Worried that it could be meningitis or something else, we decided to take her to the urgent care. We were told it would be a 2 hour wait, and we were livid. The kid was crying in pain! Every sound hurt her. On the drive she moaned, "I just want the pain to stop!" We went to the ER instead, and went straight into triage. It was getting quite late, so after they got Motrin in her, she slept on me until we could see the doctor. Perforated ear drum from an ear infection we never knew she had. When they put the meds in her ears, she looked into my eyes with a terrified look and said, "This feeling is really freaking me out!" My precious and poor girl.
Sometimes we go for walks. I get tired.
