And suddenly it is Fall.

Well, kind of. It is October 5, but it is 90 degrees out. I am kicking Fall off this weekend, and that is that. Adelaide is putting the final touches on the Halloween and Fall decorations, and tomorrow's agenda includes pumpkin muffin breakfast, pumpkin and mum buying at a farm, and Parade of Homes! Whee!!!

This morning was Vivian's 3rd bday party - 3 years old! She is such a Kaiser Pickle, and I adore her. She insists we are hers, and hers alone. She is very possessive of her Adelaide.

During Ade's trackout, we were able to make it to both Boston and Pittsbugh for long weekends. I give you photos as proof:

This is the kind of floppy muppet Aspen is - she was so stretched out, and floppy!!! I was laughing so hard at her stretching down my legs :-)

Ade starts back to school on Monday. She kicked butt first track of 1st grade, of course. At her parent-teacher conference, her teachers said they literally had nothing to tell us for her to work on. She is so well behaved, and so sweet and kind. Could parents get a better report? She makes them laugh all the time.

She certainly keeps us on our toes. She is smart as a ship, and figures things out so quickly. She can read basically like an adult (her tested reading level is midway through 3rd grade), has an enormous vocabulary, and a great mind for math. We got a very cool app teaching algebra for her iPad, and she finished very level the first day. Ade's little heart gets hurt easily, and she can determine her own opinion on matters quickly. She will do things she thinks need to be done, completely in her own world, even when you are asking her to do something else. But, to her, it is totally justified. I can't pretend I don't understand - a little mama in her, for sure.

After traveling like crazy the past few weeks, I am in my own bed at least until the last week of the month. Onward in all things. Life is good. :-)
