Black panther!!!

Before I give you any other October updates, I need to show you my darling black panther!!! Luckily, this Halloween wasn't rainy, so we had a great time trick or treating.

In other news, we returned from the Outer Banks in time to celebrate Vivian's 2nd birthday! Why are they so big so fast? And why are they so amazingly full of "personality"?

Vivian is enjoying listening to Bieber and other YouTube videos on her new iPod to match Ade's! Now they don't have to fight in the backseat when we ride together somewhere!

 

We had a cool firepit weiner and marshmallow roast...

And before I left for a work trip to London and Stockholm, I got my pals a cool Wii game - Skylander. Now Ade is obsessed...

It was a work trip, yes, but does that mean it can't also be fun??? We had an Oktoberfest event at Ericsson, and my big B10 promotion to Program Director was announced while I was there, so we had a blast one night in Stockholm celebrating with "certified" Swedish cocktails (and mead, and champagne, and whiskey... ahem).

After I got back to my sweet family, we headed to see - what else? - the alpacas at the Durham Museum of Life and Science.

Tomorrow Ryan runs in his first half marathon! This post is lousy on words, but hopefully the pictures make up for it. It is late and my iPhone is causing me angst with a draining battery. Gadgets, gadgets, how I love and hate you.
