Nightmare!

Ade woke this morning crying at 5:50am calling out, "Daddy, I had a nightmare!" I went up to get her and at first she only wanted daddy but then she consented to come down to the bed with me to see him. She told me on the way that, "The dragon ate my fingers! He bit them!" Once she was safe and happy in the bed with mommy and daddy she carefully examined her hand and said, "Now my fingers are back in their place."

Though she has had bad dreams before, this was the first time she remembered enough to explain the dream to us. Poor kiddo! That dragon better look out if I ever catch him, biting my precious nugget's digits!
