Adelaide turns 3!

Ade's celebration started Thursday, and lasted all weekend. Her school had a day off Friday, so we sent her Thursday with popsicles to have a party with her friends at afternoon snack. She was so excited when she went in carrying the box showing all of her friends what she brought for them.

Friday she hung out with us, and she even went with Ryan to get his haircut. Although she decided not to nap, we took her to see Toy Story 3 anyhow, which she ADORED! (And we kind of adored it too!)

Saturday was the big day. She opened her presents from mommy and daddy and had a blast - Barbie pool and her very own camera! (I'll create a separate post with some of Ade's artistic photography.)

Then we headed to Lil Chef in Raleigh to have her cook-out cooking party. Aunt Jenna brought her yearly sunflowers.

Then she cooked her heart out with all her friends...

We played all afternoon after a long nap, and Sunday we played more. We took some money she had gotten from a few folks and went shopping at Target, where she picked out a slide for her new ZhuZhu pet (named Nugget! thanks Grammy!), and a Toy Story game. Ade definitely had a weekend full of toys and fun. It was a blast, and I can't believe what a big girl she is now. Where has my baby gone?!?
