Chopsticks, Easter eggs, and Xrays

My my, what a week!!!
On Wednesday, Adelaide had her Easter party at school. Tuesday night we made cupcakes together to bring to the party. After she proudly shared the cupcakes she made with her friends, she had an Easter egg hunt. I was so proud and touched at how sweet she was. She ran collecting eggs so fast, and afterwards, while daddy was holding the bag, she asked for him to give her one of her eggs. When we asked why, thinking she wanted to eat candy, she said to give to her friend Harmoni to share! Adelaide is really the
gentlest sweetest little girl.
We went to the carwash, and then we took a risk and took Ade to a Japanese restaurant with

us, because we wanted sushi. Ade adored it there. We gave her some chopsticks with a connector to help her learn. She literally picked them, and started picking up edamame beans and rice grains! It was amazing! As if that wasn't enough, as we stared at her using chopsticks like she was born in Asia, she declares, "I'm just like Mulan!" We had an absolutely delightful time.
Easter was a blast. Ade asked for a scooter, which she picked out online, after having tried Mya's during our visit to Pgh in Feb. Luckily, the EB delivered. Ade found all of the eggs hidden around the house, the basket of toys and goodies, and then I let her know EB had called me to remind me there was an extra special surprise in the garage. The weather has been gorgeous lately, so we got to scooter around the unopened 98 bypass in 85degree weather!
Then we had the Franks and Aunt Jenna and Uncle Jon over for Easter dinner, and the kids literally ran until they collapsed.
This morning we took Ade to the orthopedist for a little bump that showed up on her ankle out of nowhere. Ade got to have her first xrays and she was quite amused to see the bones in her foot. It is a harmless cyst, so we have to just monitor it and go back in a few weeks to ensure it is still not rubbing on anything.
Everything Ade says amazes us. She has an amazing memory, creative thinking, and attention to details. Her teachers at school told Ryan the other day she is the total package: pretty, smart, and sweet - how could we ask for more???
