Princess Fairy PinkEye and King and Queen Pukie

The past few weeks we have been fighting the daycare germ battle nonstop. First, Ade got a lovely case of pinkeye and was sent home from school. As she told me when she woke up one morning all crusted over, "There is a tree in my eye!!!" Although her eyes were sore and she kept rubbing them, she was fine otherwise. Here she is dressing up one of the days she stayed home school and played dress-up (thanks to Mya Malloy for the shoes!):


Then, no sooner was she better from that, she was sent home again for throwing up! She proceeded to throw up every single thing she ate or drank for 2 days, but she behaved totally normally. She literally was asking to eat and saying she was hungry basically while vomiting.

We thought we were through it when Ryan started feeling sick... and as soon as he was better... I was sick. And the flu Ryan and I got seemed way worse than Ade, thankfully for her. While we had to cancel plans with friends two weekends in a row, we tried to make our weekends fun anyhow. The weather has been gorgeous, so we have gone outside as much as felt up to it. We've also done some fun projects. Last weekend we did a food project:


This weekend we made an Easter counterdowner. Ade woke from her nap yesterday calling for the Easter Bunny and when Ry got her she said, "I wanna see the Easter Bunny REAL BAD!!!"


We are certainly hoping we can manage to last a week this month without some illness!!! Spring is sprung, and we want to enjoy it, dang it!
