Adelaide is 4!

What an awesome birthday party we had today!!! The pool party was a splash, and the surprise guests - Rapunzel and Belle - were magical. Seeing Ade so excited brought tears to my eyes.

Mulan is Ade's favorite princess. Unfortunately, Mulan was unavailable for the party. Belle and Rapunzel brought Ade a gift from Mulan since she was off fighting Huns - a Mulan doll! They also read the kids a Mulan story.

When we were waiting for the "special guests" to arrive, Ade was eagerly looking to see who was going to be the surprise, and she asked me, "is it grandma, grandpa, grammy, and grampy???" More tears; she loves her G's!

The cupcake "burgers" and Hawaiian cupcakes were a big hit at her school party on Friday. That night we went out to dinner for Ryan's birthday while Brittnay, her teacher, came over to play.

Daddy got his own cake and celebration too Thursday, of course. Can I just tell you how much cake and cupcakes I have in my fridge right now???

I don't know how my daughter became 4 years old, but I suppose I won't understand how she turns 5, 16, or 30 either. Until next year... Have to start thinking about how to outdo this party, because it was a good one... :-)
