First recital!

This month has been, as predicted, completely insanely busy. First, let me say the sleep chart has been working quite well. There have definitely been nights here and there where bedtime hasn't been the smoothest, but overall, things have much improved.

A few things we have done this month:
* Alice, the online grocery/home supply service that I adore, retweeted Ade's photo:


* Went to the natural science museum and then ate at the old pharmacy, Barton Hayes. Was a great downtown Raleigh family Saturday last weekend.


* Today Adelaide had her first recital at LIttle Gym and as a totally sentimental mom, I nearly cried.


Two Adelaide anecdotes...
1. Each night Adelaide says as part of her bedtime routine, "Talk about my day!" and last week for the first time ever she said, "Tell me about your day!" I took this as an advanced sign of cognitive abilities :-)

2. While on a walk in our neighborhood, we ran into a few little girls on their bikes. Ade started touching some of the sand from the road construction and I told her not to. She glanced at the other girls who were also touching the sand and said, "But they are doing it!" Before even thinking, I heard my mouth say, "Well, I am not their mommy." It was a first for both of us, I'd say.

The biggest news of course is that we leave for Disney on Thursday and we can't wait!!! Expect a ton of pics and updates after that trip!
