The needles were huge!

Yesterday my little precious had her immunizations! Ouch!
Grandma and Grandpa are visiting a few days this week, so Grandma came to the dr with us. Ade was an angel on the drive there and during the long wait. She always tries to make me look like a liar when I tell them her acid reflux is still making her want to nurse almost every hour at night, and she refuses to be laid down at ALL - awake or asleep. We are going to try her on both Prevacid *and* Axid now (and Levsin and Mylicon, and Tylenol yesterday). The poor child's life has been spent having meds stuffed down her little throat. Better than acid I guess.

So, after she spent an hour and a half being so sweet, it was time for her immunizations and her patience had just run out. I had to hold her little hands and cuddle her upper body while they put these giant needles in her big chubber thighs. I watched her face turn bright red and she had a look of sheer horror in her eyes. I felt SO bad for her! Luckily, they did it very quickly and she calmed down when I picked her up. They did miss one of her boo boo's with the bandaid and we ended up with blood on my shirt and her outfit.

In other news, Ade has stayed on track at 75% for her weight and is now 12 lbs. Her giant noggin is not so giant anymore - her body is catching up, so her head is only 65% now.

I am so glad Grandma and Grandpa are here to hang out these few days - having some help is always heaven! I think Ryan and I might go eat sushi tonight! (Oh, sushi, how I have missed you!)
