I am a good decorator.

Yesterday I took Adelaide to Krispy Kreme for breakfast since Ryan spent the day hiking, and was up and out of the house far before yellow light. (And, yes, I am the kind of mom who lets my kid eat donuts for breakfast. On occasion.)

The place was decorated for Halloween which Adelaide adored. As we checked out with our goodies, she said unprompted to the cash register lady, "I am a good decorator." The Krispy Kreme lady told Ade they had lots of fun decorating the store. Ade's helpful response, "Well, if you want, we could come back and help you take them down?"

This little story requires no further comment. :-)




Last weekend we had Vivian's first birthday party at our house, which Adelaide did in fact help decorate for. :-) Some photos from the fun:
