SYTYCD

This past weekend we had a mixture of successes and failures with our littlest dragon. On Saturday we took her out to lunch with us and then to the mall and she was great! She got tired and the tiniest bit fussy, but then she fell asleep in the Bjorn right in the middle of the noisy mall! That was a success. Also, I went quickly to see the parade homes in Hasentree, but it was a total circus. I saw only two houses ($4.5 mil mansions!) and ended up walking about two miles to where I was forced to park my car. Semi-success.

On Sunday, Daddy went to the bar to watch football in the afternoon and gear up for his big night with Ade. I was planning to go see the So You Think You Can Dance tour in Greensboro with Jenna and Krista. I carefully arranged everything so I could put her to sleep before leaving. I left late to do so meaning I missed the first 30 min of the show. Of course, Ryan tells me she woke 20 min after I left anyhow. Bla. I saw only about 40 min of the show, had intermission, just took the first sip of my Harp beer, and was texted to come home. Ade had been screaming for the whole two hours. So, being a mommy first, I sadly handed my beer off and drove the hour and 15 min back home. Oh well. I won't say it was a total failure, because I did enjoy the 40 min I saw, but yeesh. I remind myself that someday I will have a life again - just to be able to leave for more than two hours - that's all I ask!

Ade has tried a new food - rice cereal with bananas - and it is her favorite so far. Yum, yum. She has also laughed a few more times. She is stingy with the laughs though. Jenna got a chuckle by talking about her soft tushie.

I am excited to have a weekend coming up with no plans. Ahhh. Pittsburgh trip the next weekend!
