So many updates!!!

Wow, a lot has happened recently! This past weekend mommy had to some time to herself, which was VERY nice. (Thanks, Daddy!) I checked out some parade homes, and then had brunch with the girls at Jibarra - mmmm!!!

Also this weekend, Ade tried rice cereal for the first time. She dug it! She has eaten some almost every day since Saturday now. I think she is going through a growth spurt because she is starving all the time lately. I bought some oatmeal cereal, rice with banana, and some pear baby food to try next. I am thrilled to have her eat anything that isn't attached to my body :-)



Ade also took a bath in her own tub by herself. She has been taking showers with me, but now she was a big girl and went in her tub. She was wary, but Daddy played with her doll, Llama (don't ask), and she remained calm.

But there is more!

We also tried the Bjorn facing front and she loved it! I took her around the neighborhood, and then daddy carried her for a walk at Durant nature park.

Yesterday Angela and I put her exersaucer together and Ade was in heaven. She has been wanting us to hold her standing up all the time, so this is perfect for her. She was grunting and making crazy noises and whacking at the toys. It was a riot. Here she is this morning:



Aunt Jenna came over last night and watched baby alone for the first time while Ryan and I grabbed dinner nearby. Even though we always rush through our meals out, we still have such a nice time.

Tomorrow we leave for our drive to Boston. It is sure to be an adventure!
