The circus!
So, apparently foot fighting is genetic. It has always been a family joke that Jenna would make her feet fight each other, often in the car. The other day Ade was making her feet keep switching, one on top of the other, and I asked her what she was doing and she said, "My feet are fighting!" I told her Aunt Jenna used to do that when she was little. They had a talk about it, and apparently they both feel their right foot often wins, as that is the "good" foot, while the left foot is bad.
Last weekend, in addition to the Super Bowl, we had a birthday party at Young's Gym. This weekend - you guessed it - another birthday party at Young's Gym ;-) Ade loves running around and doing all the bouncy things. It is great to have her really engaged with her new buddies at Goddard, and be making friends with some of the parents. Several more kids from Kiddie Academy are in her class now, including her friend Ronald, so it is even better. She did inform me that she would be marrying Ronald and having babies with him- twins in particular. I told her twins were hard for a mommy to carry, and she said, "I can do it." Well.
Sunday we headed to the circus with Goddard as well. It was a blast. Ade most enjoyed the tightrope walkers, but I personally liked the tigers.

She was super excited for Valentine's Day and her party at school. She had picked out treats and goodie bags at the dollar story, and over the weekend we had lined everything up on my bed like an assembly line and made treat bags. Watching her hand out her bags at school, so proud, was adorable. She had made one for herself to, labeled, "To: Adelaide, From: Adelaide" which she thought was a riot.

I try to make everyday things fun and whimsical in Ade's life, and her breakfast is one good source for me (as is toenail painting). I often make breakfast art to bring a little joy to the start of the day. The heart pancakes and pink hot chocolate was simple. I just take whatever we have around and try to be a little creative.

As Vivian is getting older and passing more and more developmental milestones, I have been looking back at Adelaide's videos and pictures, and it is amazing how baby-Ade seems so both so long ago and like yesterday at the same time. Vivian and Ade, though they have different personalities, somehow manage to cause their mothers the same grief.
